Seasoned singer/song writer Andy Dimacale connects to audiences through cover songs in the same special way that he does through his own song writing. His quality blend of rhythmic guitar playing and warm vocals is tasteful, relevant and, in a word, enjoyable.
Drummer/percussionist Ken Barcia adds value to the duo by complimenting the songs and adding a deep pocket and groove, and above all else, by not overplaying. A variety of clean beats are layered in to the music at the right listening volume.
Together, the South Jersey duo provides a surprising breadth of music that spans several decades, along with a care-free and unpretentious approach to sharing the songs. Their combined experience allows them to be just short of fearless when it comes to taking requests, often begging the audience “c’mon, stump the musicians”!
